Lynette (リネット) is one of the main characters in Lapis Re:Lights. She is a member and lyricist ofLiGHTs. Her icon is a stack of books.
Character Description[]
A library committee member who loves books. Her country of origin is Marsailles.
She's a girl brought up around extreme bibliomania due to her grandmother being a wellknown magic librarian. Because she spent all her time reading books when growing up, she has a shy and quiet personality.
She aspires to be a witch who can shine in public and is a witch otaku who has an abundant knowledge on witches. She is an avid daydreamer, even occasionally fantasizing about her other classmates making out with each other.
She belongs to the unit LiGHTs. She is the least competent within her unit as a witch but has unrivalled knowledge of magic and sense of writing lyrics making her an indispensable part of LiGHTs.[1]
She draws her magic from grimoires and is capable of casting a majority of spells in the grimoires she reads.
Personality[]
Lynette is a bit shy, but most of all she is really interested in books and fantasy worlds. She tends to see the world through the lens of books and is the first to see and point out any romantic tension between her friends. She tends to get very obsessed when talking about books and witches.
Appearance[]
Lynette has round, lavender eyes with flecks of purple. She has short green hair with a yellow hairband on top. She stands at 154 cm tall and wears her uniform with black tights and black mary jane shoes.

Trivia[]
- Lynette’s weakest point is physical activity as shown throughout the anime. When engaged in any physical activity, she would end up being tired.
- Unlike other witches who use 'Echo Gift' (or lack thereof), Lynette chants from a grimoire. Although this results in a large variety of spells at her disposal, it has a significant cast time.
- She has the biggest bust of all the girls at 92, even beating out the succubus Emilia at 91.
