Kaede ( カエデ ) is a character in Lapis Re:Lights. She is a member of the unit Konohana Wa Otome.
Character Description[]
An exchange student from Yamato, and the youngest of three sisters, she has a calm and collected personality for her age, but because her older sisters' personalities are too intense, she longs for a more reliable older sister. She has a habit of hugging things she likes, so she often hugs her roommate Salsa. She likes foxes, but since there are none living near the academy, she often pets the werewolf Salsa instead. Despite Salsa saying, But I'm an Ookami~! she doesn't seem to mind being petted so the two make a rather good combination. She is part of the Fortune Telling Research Club, and her best method is using fox fortune telling.
Being the youngest member of Konohana Wa Otome, she is the least skilled at singing and dancing, but her desire to catch up with her older sisters inspires her to practice every day, which makes her an incredibly hard worker.
Her magic has to do with little paper figures, which she kisses and enlarges. Then she can mount on them and fly as if they were flying carpets.
Personality[]
Kaede is the most serious out of the three sisters. She sees herself as the most normal of the siblings, often being annoyed by their antics. She also seems to have an interest in reading, as in Episode 8 she was shown in the library picking up a book off the shelf.
Appearance[]
Kaede is a short girl with white skin, her eyes are aquamarine, and she usually maintains a calm expression on her face. Her hair is straight and dark in color, it seems to be short, and she has it tied up with a small green bow with white pearls, she also wears orange flowers in her hair. Kaede's attire usually consists of the school uniform with white socks and black mary jane shoes, but she is sometimes seen wearing her unit's uniform, which consists of a very long-sleeved shirt of predominantly light green and white, the sleeves have white and white patterns. edges of this same color, on her chest she wears a large light orange bow and next to it some small orange flowers, she wears a white necklace, black gloves and a black miniskirt, Kaede's shoes are black with white and a bit of red.
