Garnet ( ガーネット ) is a character in Lapis Re:Lights. She is a member of the unit, IV KLORE.
Although she may appear to be a normal girl, her true form is that of a ghost.
Character Description[]
She appears to be a beautiful young girl with lustrous black hair, but her true form is that of a ghost. She comes from the country of Dordtgard. She does not know that she is a ghost because of amnesia and believes that others are only joking whenever they tell her so. This is also because in her reality, she lives her life just like normal humans do. However, despite being a ghost, she is not good at dealing with ghosts and other supernatural creatures. When she does club activities for the drama club, she "always performs the role of a ghost" but is "often praised for her acting skills". This causes her to feel mixed emotions.
She is a member of IV KLORE. She believes that having a good relationship with the other members is important, but she is a little scared of Emilia because Emilia is somewhat like a ghost. She is the type to thoroughly love her partner, but she has a fatal flaw when it comes to showing her love.

Garnet is very cheerful, outgoing, and desperate to make friends.
Appearance[]
Garnet has long straight hair with uneven bangs. Her hair looks slightly disheveled. The lower section of her legs is translucent. She is 155 cm (5'1") tall and wears her uniform with black tights and black mary jane shoes.

- Her hair being long black and disheveled is a reference to Japanese ghosts (Yūrei [幽霊]) who typically have this kind of hair. This is due to Japanese women who traditionally wore their hair pinned up had their hair down in their funeral and burial.
- In her original sighting in the Anime she is seen wearing a Violet (purple) collared uniform instead of the 3 colors of Lapis (blue), Rouge (red), or Noir (black). This may either be due to discoloration over the years (unlikely, as the coloration of the rest of her uniform are intact), or a hint that Flora Girls Academy used to have a 4th rank just below Noir. This also suggests that her original age precedes the time of RAY.
