Ashley (アシュレイ) is one of the main characters in Lapis Re:LiGHTs. She is a member and wardrobe designer for LiGHTs. Her icon is a pair of crossed swords.
Character Description[]
A young lady from a family of knights, who claims that being a witch is a step towards becoming a knight. Her country of origin is Dordtgard.
Influenced by her long history of training, she has an uptight personality. She aims to be a knight admiring her father who is a heroic knight but was told you can't be a good knight with strength alone, so was recommended to study as a witch.
Because her mother was a seamstress, she has a fondness for cute outfits, as well as stuffed toys, so she is secretly a member of the craft making club.
She belongs to the unit LiGHTs. She is stuck with having Lavie as her roommate. She is in charge of making costumes for LiGHTs, and although it doesn't seem to contribute to her wish of becoming a knight, she's created many costumes, even if she doesn't like wearing them herself. [1]
She is skilled at combat and is capable of casting combat magic such as thought acceleration and metal hardening.
Personality[]
Ashley is the most serious member of LiGHTs, with her personality being a sharp contrast to the carefree and reckless one of Lavie. She can be a bit dense, such as when Lavie and Lynette were teasing Rosetta, and she couldn't understand it.
Appearance[]
Ashley has fair skin with purple eyes and long matching hair styled in a ponytail, secured with a black bow. She stands at 163 cm and wears her uniform with white socks and black mary jane shoes.
Relationships[]
- Lavie - Her roommate. Due to their personalities being exact opposites, they have a tendency to argue. However, they are really good friends. She knows exactly what to say to motivate Lavie and often shuts down any silly ideas Lavie may have.
Trivia[]
- She has a fear of heights, as demonstrated in Episode 11 when on a plane she asks if the group is a bit too high.
- She is capable of recognizing nobles at a glance, as a result of being a knight, which almost led to Tiara's identity being found out prematurely.
- She is skilled enough in combat to incapacitate a trained guard with a single chop and could even fend off Eliza's magic whip using only a vase holder in episode 10 of the Anime.
